Flushing Township has many treasures to offer families:

1) the Flushing Township Nature Park which consists of approximately one hundred twenty-three (130) acres on the scenic Flint River with three (3) fishing piers, an observation tower, native plants, walking trails, pavilion, and fishing and canoeing on the Flint River that flows through the Township;

2)several great community school systems, including Flushing Community School system

3) shops, restaurants, and businesses located in the City of Flushing;

4) Flushing Area Senior Center;

5) Flushing Historical Society, and many more treasures too numerous to mention.

Boundaries 

Potter Road is the boundary line to the south, bordering Clayton Township.  Elms Road is the boundary line to the east, bordering Mt. Morris Township.  Frances Road is the boundary line to the north, bordering Montrose Township.  Sheridan Road/M-13 is the boundary on the west, bordering Shiawassee County.  The City of Flushing is located within the borders of Flushing Township.
